Dancing Behind Bars?

Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner and Dancing With The Stars champion Helio Castroneves might be seeing more fences? Fences of a penitentiary that is. On Thursday Castroneves was indicted on tax evasion and tax fraud charges. The IRS is alleging that he has concealed $5.5 million USD in 1999-2004 earnings.

Charges include conspiracy and six counts of tax evasion for failing to report the income. Each count carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

Also charged is Katiucia Castroneves (Helio’s 35-year-old sister and business manager) and Alan R. Miller, a lawyer from Birmingham, MI.

Castroneves always maintains one of the most positive attitudes around the track and with fans. What will allegations like this do to his outlook?
